The relationship between everyday life and dreams. The art of flying

I have been pondering the relation of everyday life and dreams. That, how people pass some things, and how that is reflected in them. Some things are passed quickly and some keep one occupied for a longer period.

To be able to fly is one of mankind´s earliest dreams. I raised my relatives to wing off. The drawings are created with charcoal on plywood, the wing span is about 100 cm.

“You should really look in the mirror” And I looked.

“Peiliin (In the mirror)” is a still life image of a self portrait; due to somebody´s remark: “ You should really look in the mirror.” And I did. That´s how the self portrait came about.

“Mikrotukihenkilö palaa juurilleen (The Pc-support person returns to his roots)” is birch wood and its dimensions are 40x30x15.

“Tiedoteos (The work of knowledge)” instead reflects my balcony-inspired thoughts created into the form of a comic strip.
