Ceramic sculptures
Ritva Tulonen builds her ceramic sculptures by hand, reflecting mental ideas. She prefers furnaces heated up to high temperatures (1300 °C) using wood. The surface of the sculptures is obtained by using heat, oxides and melting ashes. No glazing is used.
